Segundo e último post sobre o último Portugal Fashion. Comecei da melhor maneira, a mostrar-vos a Margarida, passei depois pelo meu desfile preferido desta edição, o de Miguel Vieira, mas não podia deixar de falar aqui de outros quatro desfiles que me encheram as medidas. Digam-me lá de qual gostam mais!
Second and last post about the last Portugal Fashion. I started in the best way, showing you Margarida, I went after to my favorite parade of this edition, Miguel Vieira, but I could not stop talking about four other parades that filled me up. Tell me which one you like most!
Hugo Costa
O desfile de Katty Xiomara foi outro dos meus preferidos. Confesso que apesar de gostar sempre, a estética é bem mais feminina do que aquilo que costumo usar, só que desta vez eu podia usar muito mais do que o habitual. Mas comecemos pelo início. Com uma colecção inspirada no abstraccionismo e cubismo, num cenário a condizer, não faltaram traços e figuras geométricas. Seguindo esta lógica, as cores são fortes, entre rosas, laranjas, azuis e pretos, tudo assente numa diversidade de materiais e texturas, desde sedas a fazenda. E porque os detalhes fazem mesmo toda a diferença, esta foi das maquilhagens mais giras que vi na passerelle, a fazer lembrar salpicos de tinta! Conseguem ver?
Katty Xiomara's parade was another of my favorites. I confess that although I always like it, the aesthetic is much more feminine than what I use, but this time I could use much more than usual. But let's start at the beginning. With a collection inspired by abstractionism and cubism, in a setting who matched it, there were traces and geometric figures. Following this logic, the colors are strong, among roses, oranges, blue and black, all based on a diversity of materials and textures, from silks to farm. And because the details really make all the difference, this was one of the most touring make-up I saw on the passerelle, which reminds me of ink splatters! Can you see?
Hugo Costa
Ao longo das últimas edições tenho prestado atenção às propostas de Hugo Costa, gosto sempre imenso, e nesta edição não foi diferente. A colecção (A)Way of Punk é inspirada no conceito punk, mas não necessariamente na sua estética. Confusos? Eu explico. A ideia passou por pegar em elementos do vestuário clássicos e costumizá-los, questionando a forma de usar determinada peça. Quase como “imaginar um adolescente a pegar numa peça do pai — num fato ou numas calças clássicas — e costumizá-la, transformá-la em algo seu”. O resultado são coordenados irregulares, com camisas cortadas, blazers desconstruídos (que eu AMEI), bainhas descosidas, e claro muito oversized. Tudo numa combinação de cores fortes, deixando passar uma mensagem de auto-afirmação e força. Bem street! Gostei tanto!!!!
Throughout the last editions I have been paying attention to the proposals of Hugo Costa, I always like immense, and in this edition was not different. The (A)Way of Punk collection is inspired by the punk concept, but not necessarily its aesthetic. Confused? I explain. The idea was to pick up classic clothing elements and customize them, questioning how to use a particular piece. Almost like "imagining a teenager picking on a father's piece - in a suit or in classic pants - and customizing it, make it his own". The result is irregular coordinates, with cut shirts, deconstructed blazers (which I LOVED), stripped sheaths, and of course very oversized. All in a combination of strong colors, letting go a message of self-affirmation and strength. Well done! I liked it so much!!!!
"Night Ride" é o nome da colecção que Buchinho nos apresentou. Com inspiração no filme “Blade Runner”, esta colecção tem uma vibe futurista mas também nos remete para os anos 80. Não faltaram padrões gráficos, assimetrias, recortes, volumes, micro saias, e claro, óculos bem marcantes. A imagem que se quer passar é de uma mulher forte, confiante e afirmativa, como que uma super heroína. O preto reinou, mas há espaço para outras cores fortes, quase néon, como os laranjas e azuis, sem esquecer os tons cinza e verde tropa que caracterizam as grandes metrópoles, porque sim, “Se semicerrarmos os olhos acabamos por ver as luzes dos carros e os neons capturados através dos estampados. Uma paisagem urbana desfocada, fotografada ao longe”. Adorei!!
"Night Ride" is the name of the collection that Buchinho presented to us. Inspired on "Blade Runner" film, this collection has a futuristic vibe but also refers us to the 80's. There are no lack of graphic standards, asymmetries, cutouts, volumes, micro skirts, and of course, eyeglasses. The image he want to pass on is a strong, confident and affirmative woman, like a super heroine. Black has reigned, but there is place for other strong colors, almost neon, like oranges and blues, not to mention the gray and green troop tones that characterize the big metropolis, because yes, "If we squint our eyes we finally see the lights of the cars and the neons captured through the prints. A blurred urban landscape, photographed in the distance". I loved it!!
Diogo Miranda é outro dos meus queridinhos. Desta vez coube-lhe a ele o último desfile desta edição, mas isso não foi motivo para começar fora de horas! E eu que detesto atrasos, adorei!
A inspiração para a colecção do próximo Outono/Inverno veio de um dos muitos cristais que compõem o candelabro que tem no atelier. Essa inspiração é notória nas saias assimétricas, nas rachas acentuadas das mesmas, nos decotes profundos, nos ombros marcados e folhos. Como já seria de esperar apresentou-nos uma mulher ousada, elegante e urbana, sempre numa paleta de cores sóbrias, onde predominam o rosa nude, cinzas, pretos e azul petróleo. Os brilhos não faltaram, mas sempre subtis e associados ao movimento das peças, não fosse a inspiração um cristal!

The inspiration for the collection next autumn/winter came from one of the many crystals that make up the chandelier that he has in the atelier. This inspiration is evident in the asymmetrical skirts, the sharp splits of them, the deep necklines, the marked shoulders and ruffles. As expected he wants a bold, elegant and urban woman, always in a sober color palette, where nude pink, gray, black and oil blue predominate. The sparkles were not lacking, but always subtle and associated with the movement of the pieces, cause the inspiration is a crystal!
